The Greubel Forsey Tourbillon Cardan is a gimballed tourbillon that the independent maker presented in 2023. Greubel Forsey was founded in 2004 by Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey and launched with the Double Tourbillon 30°, in which one inclined tourbillon cage rotates inside another. A tourbillon, patented by Breguet in 1801, places the escapement in a rotating cage to average out the effects of gravity. The film shows the Tourbillon Cardan and its mechanism.
